1. Text Data Processing & Technical Zero-Retention

When you submit text to our AI Content Detector, it is processed entirely in-memory on secure cloud servers to analyze its statistical features (such as perplexity and burstiness).

Strict Technical Guarantee: We do not write your text to permanent storage, we do not generate backend error logs containing your input, and we never use your text to train machine learning models. Your content is completely destroyed from our volatile server memory the millisecond your analysis report is generated.

2. Personal Data We Collect & Legal Basis

Under regulations like GDPR and CCPA, certain technical identifiers are classified as personal data. We collect the following information based on our Legitimate Interests to maintain platform security, prevent automated bot abuse, and enforce system rate limits:

  • Network Identifiers: Your IP address (processed securely for rate limiting and instantly anonymized/hashed where applicable).
  • Device Metadata: Browser type, language settings, and operating system (used solely to render the UI correctly).
  • Usage Metrics: Timestamp of requests and the precise character/word count of the submission.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To optimize performance and accuracy, we may route requests through specific third-party sub-processors. Currently, our system utilizes:

• Infrastructure: Railway (Cloud Hosting & Server Environment). Text remains in memory during processing.

• Analytics (Optional): Google Analytics 4 (Only initialized upon your explicit consent via our Cookie Banner) to monitor site traffic.

• Note: If we onboard external commercial API vendors (e.g., Copyleaks, Originality.ai) in the future, this section will be instantly updated with active links to their respective data processing policies.

4. Cookies and Prior Consent

We use essential cookies to remember your interface configurations (e.g., Dark Mode preference) and protect against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). Non-essential tracking or analytics cookies will never be deployed on your browser without your proactive, explicit selection via our Cookie Consent banner.
